Firm Overview

The DOHERTY Law Firm continues its tradition of providing general legal services, with a focus on real estate and transactional matters, probate, estate planning, civil litigation, and homeowners association law.  The Firm prides itself on its ability to grow with our community and the needs of our clients while remaining focused on the numerous legal issues that our clients face on a daily basis.  To do so, we utilize seasoned attorneys, a highly trained and experienced staff, an automated case management system, and state of the art online and print legal research resources and libraries.

The DOHERTY Law Firm serves a wide variety of clients in DeKalb, Kane, DuPage and surrounding counties.  Our history dates back to 1986, when Thomas L. Doherty began a private practice in DeKalb, Illinois.  The practice expanded in 2004 when Mark P. Doherty moved his practice to join his father in serving client needs throughout the area.  Shortly thereafter, the Firm added an office in St. Charles, Illinois, to greater serve the needs of our clients and to continue to provide confident and experienced legal services in a greater geographical area.
